As our Hotel Silkroad Bamiyan is located in front of the Bamiyan Ruins you can find the best view of Bamiyan Ruins from our Hotel. We are a joint project of Japanese and Afghan and we make every effort to have information exchange and local support with the Afghanistan people.

Entrance & Lobby
There is enough comfortable space for relaxation and spending your free time. We also have back up battery support, which allows you to watch TV anytime (except mid-night). Ofcourse you can use WIFI. There is also an Arts and Crafts Shop which sells hand made bags that used weven fabric made by Bamiyan women and other interesting souvenirs
Twin Bed Rooms
We have 10 rooms, all with twin beds and a balcony with a wonderful view. All rooms are equipped with its own shower, bathtub and toilet facility. We serve 2 bottles(500ml) complimentary mineral water each day.
Cafe Terrace (2nd floor)
From this terrace you can enjoy a cup of Afghanii Tea and eat lunch while gazing upon the West Giant Buddha.
Restaurant
From the restaurant also you can get a view of the West Giant Buddha. Ordinarily we serve a set menu or buffet, but we can comply with your request and arrange a delicious meal to your palate.
Meeting Room
It is an Afghanistan style meeting room with a TV and DVD set. This is enough seating space for meetings/seminars of upto 10people or so. This meeting room can also be used for small parties.
Entrance Garden
Located between the entrance and the lobby, there is a charming garden with a fountain splashing cool water to great you after a hot day's sightseeing. Various seasonal flowers are in bloom and are waiting to welcome you.

The guest entrance to the hotel has full security on a 24 hour basis.We also have enough covered parking place for 5 cars.

(Silkroad Bamiyan Handi Crafts)
The Gift Shop is located in the lobby. There you can find most suitable gifts for your family and friends. Hand weaven Bamiyan fabric (bags and small pouches) are intricately handmade by the local craftswomen who live in Dragon Valley. The teddy bear with an Afghanii native dress is a most popular item. You will also find clothing and kitchen goods for purchase.
