Already five years from the birth of Bamiyan Peace Bear Project. Roughly 5000 Peace Bear was produced by the present. At the beginning production, there were many failures, such as overweight bear , bear to which the face was distorted , ugly face bear whose eyes separated too much. However, it become to be made almost the same shape, still not perfect. Currently, two craftsmen, mother and daughter living in Kabul, are creating 20 bears per week. We are pleaed if you relax with the Peace Bear, whichi is made at harsh living conditions in Afghanistan.
Now, in order to trace the whereabouts of the 5000 Bear of the Peace Bear, in Bamiyan Handicraft Silk Road, we will be looking for Bear Photos from everyone. Entitled, "Bamiyan Peace Bear Arround the World". We would like to post photographs on this website. From submitted photo, We will gift the prize for excellent work. We are looking forward to great work from everyone.
